I believe President Bush is sincere and will try to surround himself with sincere people. For that reason, I think McClellan is probably also sincere, somewhat confused maybe, but sincere. This is probably why President Bush was puzzled when someone he liked went against him. That's one of the big differences between George and Bill. Bill, a con man, expects others to try to pull on something on him ("You got that little smirk on your face, you think you're so clever"). So when something like this happens to Bill, he would be not puzzled. As for McClellan, I think politics is to much for him and would be happier as a grade school baseball coach.
